* create struct for machine initialization argumentsEduardo Habkost2012-10-201-4/+5
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | This should help us to: - More easily add or remove machine initialization arguments without having to change every single machine init function; - More easily make mechanical changes involving the machine init functions in the future; - Let machine initialization forward the init arguments to other functions more easily. This change was half-mechanical process: first the struct was added with the local ram_size, boot_device, kernel_*, initrd_*, and cpu_model local variable initialization to all functions. Then the compiler helped me locate the local variables that are unused, so they could be removed. Signed-off-by: Blue Swirl <blauwirbel@gmail.com>
* arm_boot: Pass ARMCPU to arm_load_kernel()Andreas Färber2012-06-111-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | In particular this simplifies the &s->mpu->cpu->env expression again. first_cpu and ->next_cpu are expected to be QOM'ified later. * prepare for future GPLv2+ relicensingPaolo Bonzini2012-01-131-0/+3
| | | | | | | | | All files under GPLv2 will get GPLv2+ changes starting tomorrow. event_notifier.c and exec-obsolete.h were only ever touched by Red Hat employees and can be relicensed now. Signed-off-by: Paolo Bonzini <pbonzini@redhat.com> Signed-off-by: Anthony Liguori <aliguori@us.ibm.com>

* pflash_cfi01/pflash_cfi02: convert to memory APIAvi Kivity2011-09-041-5/+2Star
| | | | | | | | | | | cfi02 is annoying in that is ignores some address bits; we probably want explicit support in the memory API for that. In order to get the correct opaque into the MemoryRegion object, the allocation scheme is changed so that the flash emulation code allocates memory, instead of the caller. This clears a FIXME in the flash code. Signed-off-by: Avi Kivity <avi@redhat.com>
* Revert "Merge remote-tracking branch 'qemu-kvm/memory/batch' into staging"Anthony Liguori2011-08-251-9/+7Star
| | | | | | | | | | | | This reverts commit 8ef9ea85a2cc1007eaefa53e6871f1f83bcef22d, reversing changes made to 444dc48298c480e42e15a8fe676be737d8a6b2a1. From Avi: Please revert the entire pull (git revert 8ef9ea85a2cc1) while I work this out - it isn't trivial. Signed-off-by: Anthony Liguori <aliguori@us.ibm.com>

* Basic implementation of Sharp Zaurus SL-5500 collie PDADmitry Eremin-Solenikov2011-04-201-0/+69
Add very basic implementation of collie PDA emulation. The system lacks LoCoMo and graphics/sound emulation. Linux kernel boots up to mounting rootfs (theoretically it can be provided in pflash images).
