* hw: Make MachineClass::is_default a boolean typePhilippe Mathieu-Daudé2020-02-281-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | There's no good reason for it to be type int, change it to bool. Suggested-by: Richard Henderson <richard.henderson@linaro.org> Reviewed-by: Michael S. * Include hw/qdev-properties.h lessMarkus Armbruster2019-08-161-0/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | In my "build everything" tree, changing hw/qdev-properties.h triggers a recompile of some 2700 out of 6600 objects (not counting tests and objects that don't depend on qemu/osdep.h). Many places including hw/qdev-properties.h (directly or via hw/qdev.h) actually need only hw/qdev-core.h. Include hw/qdev-core.h there instead. hw/qdev.h is actually pointless: all it does is include hw/qdev-core.h and hw/qdev-properties.h, which in turn includes hw/qdev-core.h. Replace the remaining uses of hw/qdev.h by hw/qdev-properties.h. While there, delete a few superfluous inclusions of hw/qdev-core.h. Touching hw/qdev-properties.h now recompiles some 1200 objects. | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | In my "build everything" tree, changing hw/hw.h triggers a recompile of some 2600 out of 6600 objects (not counting tests and objects that don't depend on qemu/osdep.h). The previous commits have left only the declaration of hw_error() in hw/hw.h. This permits dropping most of its inclusions. Touching it now recompiles less than 200 objects. * hw: Use new memory_region_init_{ram, rom, rom_device}() functionsPeter Maydell2017-07-141-4/+4
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Use the new functions memory_region_init_{ram,rom,rom_device}() instead of manually calling the _nomigrate() version and then vmstate_register_ram_global(). Patch automatically created using coccinelle script: spatch --in-place -sp_file scripts/coccinelle/memory-region-init-ram.cocci -dir hw (As it turns out, there are no instances of the rom and rom_device functions that are caught by this script.) * nios2: Add Altera 10M50 GHRD emulationMarek Vasut2017-01-241-0/+126
Add the Altera 10M50 Nios2 GHRD model. This allows emulating the 10M50 development kit with the Nios2 GHRD loaded in the FPGA. It is possible to boot Linux kernel and run userspace, thus far only from initrd as storage support is not yet implemented.
