Only the QMP commands were documented in the deprecations page, but the rationale for deprecating applies equally to HMP, and the replacements exist. Furthermore the HMP commands are just shims to the QMP commands, so removing the latter breaks the former unless they get re-implemented. The command automatically loads nearest snapshot and replays the execution to find the desired instruction count. It may be useful for debugging when there are some known events that should be investigated. replay_break command has one argument - number of instructions executed since the start of the replay. replay_delete_break removes previously set breakpoint. These commands request the current record/replay mode, replay log file name, and the instruction count (number of recorded/replayed instructions).
