* utils/fifo8: add VMSTATE_FIFO8_TEST macroMark Cave-Ayland2021-02-071-6/+10
| | | | | | | | | Rewrite the existing VMSTATE_FIFO8 macro to use VMSTATE_FIFO8_TEST as per the standard pattern in include/migration/vmstate.h. * Include migration/vmstate.h lessMarkus Armbruster2019-08-161-1/+0Star
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | In my "build everything" tree, changing migration/vmstate.h triggers a recompile of some 2700 out of 6600 objects (not counting tests and objects that don't depend on qemu/osdep.h). hw/hw.h supposedly includes it for convenience. Several other headers include it just to get VMStateDescription. The previous commit made that unnecessary. Include migration/vmstate.h only where it's still needed. Touching it now recompiles only some 1600 objects. * Clean up header guards that don't match their file nameMarkus Armbruster2016-07-121-3/+3
| | | | | | | | | | | | Header guard symbols should match their file name to make guard collisions less likely. Offenders found with scripts/clean-header-guards.pl -vn. Cleaned up with scripts/clean-header-guards.pl, followed by some renaming of new guard symbols picked by the script to better ones. * util/fifo8: implement push/pop of multiple bytesBeniamino Galvani2014-02-081-0/+61
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | The patch adds functions fifo8_push_all() and fifo8_pop_buf() which can be used respectively to push the content of a memory buffer to the fifo and to pop multiple bytes obtaining a pointer to the fifo backing buffer. In addition, it implements fifo8_num_free() and fifo8_num_used() which allow to check if a multi-byte operation can be performed. * hw: move fifo.[ch] to libqemuutilPaolo Bonzini2013-03-011-0/+99
fifo.c is generic code that can be easily unit tested. So it belongs in libqemuutil. Signed-off-by: Paolo Bonzini <pbonzini@redhat.com>
