* iotests: define group in each iotestVladimir Sementsov-Ogievskiy2021-01-201-0/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | We are going to drop group file. Define group in tests as a preparatory step. The patch is generated by cd tests/qemu-iotests grep '^[0-9]\{3\} ' group | while read line; do file=$(awk '{print $1}' <<< "$line"); groups=$(sed -e 's/^... //' <<< "$line"); awk "NR==2{print \"# group: $groups\"}1" $file > tmp; cat tmp > $file; done Signed-off-by: Vladimir Sementsov-Ogievskiy <vsementsov@virtuozzo.com> Reviewed-by: Eric Blake <eblake@redhat.com> Message-Id: <20210116134424.82867-7-vsementsov@virtuozzo.com> Signed-off-by: Eric Blake <eblake@redhat.com>
* iotests: Enable fuse for many testsMax Reitz2020-12-111-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Many tests (that do not support generic protocols) can run just fine with FUSE-exported images, so allow them to. Note that this is no attempt at being definitely complete. There are some tests that might be modified to run on FUSE, but this patch still skips them. This patch only tries to pick the rather low-hanging fruits. Note that 221 and 250 only pass when .lseek is correctly implemented, which is only possible with a libfuse that is 3.8 or newer. * tests/iotests: be a little more forgiving on the size testAlex Bennée2020-02-251-2/+2
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | At least on ZFS this was failing as 512 was less than or equal to 512. I suspect the reason is additional compression done by ZFS and however qemu-img gets the actual size. Loosen the criteria to make sure after is not bigger than before and also dump the values in the report. * tests/qemu-iotests: add case to write compressed data of multiple clustersAndrey Shinkevich2020-01-061-0/+43
| | | | | | | | | | | | Add the case to the iotest #214 that checks possibility of writing compressed data of more than one cluster size. The test case involves the compress filter driver showing a sample usage of that. * tests/qemu-iotests: Remove the "_supported_os Linux" line from many testsThomas Huth2019-05-211-1/+0Star
| | | | | | | | | | | | | A lot of tests run fine on FreeBSD and macOS, too - the limitation to Linux here was likely just copied-and-pasted from other tests. Thus remove the "_supported_os Linux" line from tests that run successful in our CI pipelines on FreeBSD and macOS. * qemu-iotests: Improve portability by searching bash in the $PATHPhilippe Mathieu-Daudé2019-03-081-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Bash is not always installed as /bin/bash. In particular on OpenBSD, the package installs it in /usr/local/bin. Use the 'env' shebang to search bash in the $PATH. Patch created mechanically by running: $ git grep -lE '#! ?/bin/bash' -- tests/qemu-iotests \ | while read f; do \ sed -i 's|^#!.\?/bin/bash$|#!/usr/bin/env bash|' $f; \ done Reviewed-by: Eric Blake <eblake@redhat.com> Signed-off-by: Philippe Mathieu-Daudé <philmd@redhat.com> Signed-off-by: Kevin Wolf <kwolf@redhat.com>
* qemu-iotests: remove unused variable 'here'Mao Zhongyi2018-11-191-1/+0Star
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Running git grep '\$here' tests/qemu-iotests has 0 hits, which means we are setting a variable that has no use. It appears that commit e8f8624d removed the last use. So execute the following cmd to remove all of the 'here=...' lines as dead code. sed -i '/^here=/d' $(git grep -l '^here=' tests/qemu-iotests) Cc: kwolf@redhat.com Cc: mreitz@redhat.com Cc: eblake@redhat.com Suggested-by: Eric Blake <eblake@redhat.com> Signed-off-by: Mao Zhongyi <maozhongyi@cmss.chinamobile.com> Message-Id: <20181024094051.4470-3-maozhongyi@cmss.chinamobile.com> Reviewed-by: Eric Blake <eblake@redhat.com> [eblake: touch up commit message, reorder series, rebase to master] Signed-off-by: Eric Blake <eblake@redhat.com>
* iotests: Split 214 off of 122Max Reitz2018-05-151-0/+97
Commit abd3622cc03cf41ed542126a540385f30a4c0175 added a case to 122 regarding how the qcow2 driver handles an incorrect compressed data length value. This does not really fit into 122, as that file is supposed to contain qemu-img convert test cases, which this case is not. So this patch splits it off into its own file; maybe we will even get more qcow2-only compression tests in the future. Also, that test case does not work with refcount_bits=1, so mark that option as unsupported.
