* iotests: define group in each iotestVladimir Sementsov-Ogievskiy2021-01-201-0/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | We are going to drop group file. Define group in tests as a preparatory step. The patch is generated by cd tests/qemu-iotests grep '^[0-9]\{3\} ' group | while read line; do file=$(awk '{print $1}' <<< "$line"); groups=$(sed -e 's/^... //' <<< "$line"); awk "NR==2{print \"# group: $groups\"}1" $file > tmp; cat tmp > $file; done Signed-off-by: Vladimir Sementsov-Ogievskiy <vsementsov@virtuozzo.com> Reviewed-by: Eric Blake <eblake@redhat.com> Message-Id: <20210116134424.82867-7-vsementsov@virtuozzo.com> Signed-off-by: Eric Blake <eblake@redhat.com>
* iotests: add script_initializeJohn Snow2020-05-051-0/+2
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | Like script_main, but doesn't require a single point of entry. Replace all existing initialization sections with this drop-in replacement. This brings debug support to all existing script-style iotests. * tests/qemu-iotests: Explicit usage of Python3 (scripts without __main__)Philippe Mathieu-Daudé2020-02-071-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Use the program search path to find the Python 3 interpreter. Patch created mechanically by running: $ sed -i "s,^#\!/usr/bin/\(env\ \)\?python$,#\!/usr/bin/env python3," \ $(git grep -lF '#!/usr/bin/env python' \ | xargs grep -L 'if __name__.*__main__') Reported-by: Vladimir Sementsov-Ogievskiy <vsementsov@virtuozzo.com> Suggested-by: Daniel P. * iotests: Set read-zeroes on in null block driver for ValgrindAndrey Shinkevich2019-07-191-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | The Valgrind tool reports about the uninitialised buffer 'buf' instantiated on the stack of the function guess_disk_lchs(). Pass 'read-zeroes=on' to the null block driver to make it deterministic. The output of the tests 051, 186 and 227 now includes the parameter 'read-zeroes'. So, the benchmark output files are being changed too. * iotests: use iotests.VM in 238Stefan Hajnoczi2019-03-081-6/+1Star
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | Test 238 does not require the kvm accelerator. Using the qtest accelerator allows the test to run in both non-kvm and non-tcg environments. iotests.VM implicitly uses the qtest accelerator and is really the class that this test should be using. Switch to that instead of qemu.QEMUMachine. Suggested-by: Thomas Huth <thuth@redhat.com> Signed-off-by: Stefan Hajnoczi <stefanha@redhat.com> Signed-off-by: Kevin Wolf <kwolf@redhat.com>
* Introduce a Python module structureCleber Rosa2019-02-221-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | This is a simple move of Python code that wraps common QEMU functionality, and are used by a number of different tests and scripts. By treating that code as a real Python module, we can more easily: * reuse code * have a proper place for the module's own unittests * apply a more consistent style * generate documentation Signed-off-by: Cleber Rosa <crosa@redhat.com> Reviewed-by: Caio Carrara <ccarrara@redhat.com> Reviewed-by: Stefan Hajnoczi <stefanha@redhat.com> Message-Id: <20190206162901.19082-2-crosa@redhat.com> Signed-off-by: Cleber Rosa <crosa@redhat.com>
* iotests: add 238 for throttling tgm unregister iothread segfaultStefan Hajnoczi2019-01-241-0/+47
Hot-unplug a scsi-hd using an iothread. The previous patch fixes a segfault in this scenario. This patch adds a regression test.
