* qtest/pvpanic: Test panic option that allows VM to continueAlejandro Jimenez2020-12-151-1/+25
| | | | | | | | | | | Test the scenario where the -action panic=none parameter is used to signal that the VM must continue executing after a guest panic occurs. * pvpanic: Advertise the PVPANIC_CRASHLOADED event supportPaolo Bonzini2020-11-111-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | Advertise both types of events as supported when the guest OS queries the pvpanic device. Currently only PVPANIC_PANICKED is exposed; PVPANIC_CRASHLOADED must also be advertised, but only on new machine types. Fixes: 7dc58deea79a ("pvpanic: implement crashloaded event handling") Reported-by: Alejandro Jimenez <alejandro.j.jimenez@oracle.com> Signed-off-by: Paolo Bonzini <pbonzini@redhat.com>
* qtest: switch users back to qtest_qmp_receiveMaxim Levitsky2020-10-121-3/+1Star
| | | | | | | | | | | | Let test use the new functionality for buffering events. The only remaining users of qtest_qmp_receive_dict are tests that fuzz the QMP protocol. Tested with 'make check-qtest'. Signed-off-by: Maxim Levitsky <mlevitsk@redhat.com> Message-Id: <20201006123904.610658-4-mlevitsk@redhat.com> Signed-off-by: Paolo Bonzini <pbonzini@redhat.com>
* qtest: rename qtest_qmp_receive to qtest_qmp_receive_dictMaxim Levitsky2020-10-121-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | In the next patch a new version of qtest_qmp_receive will be reintroduced that will buffer received qmp events for later consumption in qtest_qmp_eventwait_ref No functional change intended. * test: Move qtests to a separate directoryThomas Huth2020-01-121-0/+49
The tests directory itself is pretty overcrowded, and it's hard to see which test belongs to which test subsystem (unit, qtest, ...). Let's move the qtests to a separate folder for more clarity.
