* [build] Mark core files as permitted for UEFI Secure BootMichael Brown2026-01-141-0/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | Mark all files used in a standard build of bin-x86_64-efi/snponly.efi as permitted for UEFI Secure Boot. These files represent the core functionality of iPXE that is guaranteed to have been included in every binary that was previously subject to a security review and signed by Microsoft. It is therefore legitimate to assume that at least these files have already been reviewed to the required standard multiple times. Signed-off-by: Michael Brown <mcb30@ipxe.org>
* [legal] Relicense files under GPL2_OR_LATER_OR_UBDLMichael Brown2015-03-021-1/+1
| | | | | | | Relicense files for which I am the sole author (as identified by util/relicense.pl). Signed-off-by: Michael Brown <mcb30@ipxe.org>
* [console] Allow '?' as an intermediate byte in ANSI escape sequencesMichael Brown2013-12-021-0/+6
| | | | | | | | | The ANSI escape sequences to show and hide the cursor take the form "<ESC>[?25h" and "<ESC>[?25l" respectively. iPXE currently treats the '?' character as the final byte. Fix by explicitly treating '?' as an intermediate byte. Signed-off-by: Michael Brown <mcb30@ipxe.org>
* [fbcon] Add generic concept of a frame buffer consoleMichael Brown2013-11-281-1/+1
| | | | | | | Add support for a simple frame buffer console, using single buffering and a fixed-width bitmap font. Signed-off-by: Michael Brown <mcb30@ipxe.org>

* [syslog] Pass internal syslog() priority through to syslog consoleMichael Brown2012-03-261-0/+7
| | | | | | | Use a private ANSI escape sequence to convey the priority of an internal syslog() message through to the syslog server. Signed-off-by: Michael Brown <mcb30@ipxe.org>
* [build] Rename gPXE to iPXEMichael Brown2010-04-201-0/+120
Access to the gpxe.org and etherboot.org domains and associated resources has been revoked by the registrant of the domain. Work around this problem by renaming project from gPXE to iPXE, and updating URLs to match. Also update README, LOG and COPYRIGHTS to remove obsolete information.
