* [build] Mark core files as permitted for UEFI Secure BootMichael Brown2026-01-141-0/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | Mark all files used in a standard build of bin-x86_64-efi/snponly.efi as permitted for UEFI Secure Boot. These files represent the core functionality of iPXE that is guaranteed to have been included in every binary that was previously subject to a security review and signed by Microsoft. It is therefore legitimate to assume that at least these files have already been reviewed to the required standard multiple times. Signed-off-by: Michael Brown <mcb30@ipxe.org>
* [hci] Use dynamically allocated buffers for editable stringsMichael Brown2024-04-151-12/+21
| | | | | | | | | | | Editable strings currently require a fixed-size buffer, which is inelegant and limits the potential for creating interactive forms with a variable number of edit box widgets. Remove this limitation by switching to using a dynamically allocated buffer for editable strings and edit box widgets. Signed-off-by: Michael Brown <mcb30@ipxe.org>
* [legal] Relicense files under GPL2_OR_LATER_OR_UBDLMichael Brown2015-03-021-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | These files cannot be automatically relicensed by util/relicense.pl since they either contain unusual but trivial contributions (such as the addition of __nonnull function attributes), or contain lines dating back to the initial git revision (and so require manual knowledge of the code's origin). * [readline] Add init_editstring() wrapper functionMichael Brown2011-03-301-0/+13
| | | | | | | | Standardise on using init_editstring() to initialise an embedded editable string, to match the coding style used by other embedded objects. Signed-off-by: Michael Brown <mcb30@ipxe.org>
* [build] Rename gPXE to iPXEMichael Brown2010-04-201-0/+33
Access to the gpxe.org and etherboot.org domains and associated resources has been revoked by the registrant of the domain. Work around this problem by renaming project from gPXE to iPXE, and updating URLs to match. Also update README, LOG and COPYRIGHTS to remove obsolete information.
