Linux-2.6.12-rc2
Initial git repository build. I'm not bothering with the full history,
even though we have it. We can create a separate "historical" git
archive of that later if we want to, and in the meantime it's about
3.2GB when imported into git - space that would just make the early
git days unnecessarily complicated, when we don't have a lot of good
infrastructure for it.
Let it rip!

The current interface for + the CDROM_DISC_STATUS ioctl is flawed. It makes the false + assumption that CDs are all CDS_DATA_1 or all CDS_AUDIO, etc. + Unfortunatly, while this is often the case, it is also + very common for CDs to have some tracks with data, and some + tracks with audio. Just because I feel like it, I declare + the following to be the best way to cope. If the CD has + ANY data tracks on it, it will be returned as a data CD. + If it has any XA tracks, I will return it as that. Now I + could simplify this interface by combining these returns with + the above, but this more clearly demonstrates the problem + with the current interface.
