* ARM: omap: convert wakeupgen to stacked domainsMarc Zyngier2015-03-151-1/+0Star
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | OMAP4/5 has been (ab)using the gic_arch_extn to provide wakeup from suspend, and it makes a lot of sense to convert this code to use stacked domains instead. This patch does just this, updating the DT files to actually reflect what the HW provides. BIG FAT WARNING: because the DTs were so far lying by not exposing the WUGEN HW block, kernels with this patch applied won't have any suspend-resume facility when booted with old DTs, and old kernels with updated DTs won't even boot. On a platform with this patch applied, the system looks like this: root@bacon-fat:~# cat /proc/interrupts CPU0 CPU1 16: 0 0 WUGEN 37 gp_timer 19: 233799 155916 GIC 27 arch_timer 23: 0 0 WUGEN 9 l3-dbg-irq 24: 1 0 WUGEN 10 l3-app-irq 27: 282 0 WUGEN 13 omap-dma-engine 44: 0 0 4ae10000.gpio 13 DMA 294: 0 0 WUGEN 20 gpmc 297: 506 0 WUGEN 56 48070000.i2c 298: 0 0 WUGEN 57 48072000.i2c 299: 0 0 WUGEN 61 48060000.i2c 300: 0 0 WUGEN 62 4807a000.i2c 301: 8 0 WUGEN 60 4807c000.i2c 308: 2439 0 WUGEN 74 OMAP UART2 312: 362 0 WUGEN 83 mmc2 313: 502 0 WUGEN 86 mmc0 314: 13 0 WUGEN 94 mmc1 350: 0 0 PRCM pinctrl, pinctrl 406: 35155709 0 GIC 109 ehci_hcd:usb1 407: 0 0 WUGEN 7 palmas 409: 0 0 WUGEN 119 twl6040 410: 0 0 twl6040 5 twl6040_irq_ready 411: 0 0 twl6040 0 twl6040_irq_th IPI0: 0 1 CPU wakeup interrupts IPI1: 0 0 Timer broadcast interrupts IPI2: 95334 902334 Rescheduling interrupts IPI3: 0 0 Function call interrupts IPI4: 479 648 Single function call interrupts IPI5: 0 0 CPU stop interrupts IPI6: 0 0 IRQ work interrupts IPI7: 0 0 completion interrupts Err: 0 Acked-by: Tony Lindgren <tony@atomide.com> Signed-off-by: Marc Zyngier <marc.zyngier@arm.com> Link: https://lkml.kernel.org/r/1426088629-15377-8-git-send-email-marc.zyngier@arm.com Signed-off-by: Jason Cooper <jason@lakedaemon.net>
* ARM: dts: am437x-sk: add power button bindingFelipe Balbi2015-01-081-0/+5
| | | | | | | | Let this board report KEY_POWER so upper layers can decide what to do when power button is pressed. Signed-off-by: Felipe Balbi <balbi@ti.com> Signed-off-by: Tony Lindgren <tony@atomide.com>
* ARM: dts: am437x-sk-evm: add VPFE device tree dataDarren Etheridge2015-01-081-0/+58
| | | | | | | | | | Add device tree nodes and pinmux entries for Video Processing Front End (VPFE) on am437x sk evm. * ARM: dts: am437x-sk: remove DSS pullsFelipe Balbi2015-01-081-28/+28
| | | | | | | | The DSS data lines don't need pulls, it's best to remove them to guarantee signal integrity. Signed-off-by: Felipe Balbi <balbi@ti.com> Signed-off-by: Tony Lindgren <tony@atomide.com>
* ARM: dts: am437x-sk: remove internal i2c pullupsFelipe Balbi2015-01-081-4/+4
| | | | | | | | | AM437x Starter Kit already has discrete pullups for all I2C buses, so we can (and should) remove internal pulls. Signed-off-by: Felipe Balbi <balbi@ti.com> Signed-off-by: Tony Lindgren <tony@atomide.com>
* ARM: dts: am437x-sk: add explicit pinmux for both USB instancesFelipe Balbi2015-01-081-0/+16
| | | | | | | | | | This patch just makes USB[01]_DRVVBUS signal explicitly muxed. Note that board already has a discrete pulldown, so we're not adding any pulls here. Signed-off-by: Felipe Balbi <balbi@ti.com> Signed-off-by: Tony Lindgren <tony@atomide.com>
* ARM: dts: am437x-sk: remove ethernet pullsFelipe Balbi2015-01-081-26/+26
| | | | | | | | | AM437x Starter Kit already has discrete pulls where they are necessary. It's safe (and actually better) to remove internal pulls. Signed-off-by: Felipe Balbi <balbi@ti.com> Signed-off-by: Tony Lindgren <tony@atomide.com>
* ARM: dts: am437x-sk: add explicit MMC0 pinmuxFelipe Balbi2015-01-081-0/+6
| | | | | | | | | | By don't relying on implicit MMC0 pulldown we make sure that pins are marked busy and even if we have a broken bootloader, MMC0 will remain functional. Signed-off-by: Felipe Balbi <balbi@ti.com> Signed-off-by: Tony Lindgren <tony@atomide.com>
* ARM: dts: am437x-sk: remove internal pulls from QSPIFelipe Balbi2015-01-081-6/+6
| | | | | | | | QSPI doesn't need any pullups of any sort, let's remove them. Signed-off-by: Felipe Balbi <balbi@ti.com> Signed-off-by: Tony Lindgren <tony@atomide.com>
* ARM: dts: am437x-sk-evm: Hook dcdc2 as the cpu0-supplyDave Gerlach2015-01-081-0/+4

* ARM: dts: am437x-sk-evm.dts: fix LCD timingsTomi Valkeinen2014-12-101-6/+6
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | The lcd0 node for am437x-sk-evm.dts contains bad LCD timings, and while they seem to work with a quick test, doing for example blank/unblank will give you a black display. This patch updates the timings to the 'typical' values from the LCD spec sheet. Also, the compatible string is completely bogus, as "osddisplays,osd057T0559-34ts" is _not_ a 480x272 panel. The panel on the board is a newhaven one. Update the compatible string to reflect this. Note that this hasn't caused any issues, as the "panel-dpi" matches the driver. * ARM: dts: am437x-sk: fix lcd enable pin mux dataFelipe Balbi2014-12-101-2/+1Star
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Caused by a copy & paste error. Note that even with this bug AM437x SK display still works because GPIO mux mode is always enabled. It's still wrong to mux somebody else's pin. Luckily ball D25 (offset 0x238 - gpio5_8) on AM437x isn't used for anything. While at that, also replace a pullup with a pulldown as that gpio should be normally low, not high. * ARM: dts: AM437x-SK-EVM: Fix DCDC3 voltageKeerthy2014-11-101-2/+2
| | | | | | | | | DCDC3 supplies voltage to DDR. Fix DCDC3 volatge to 1.5V which is the reset value. Programming to a non-reset value while executing from DDR will result in random hangs. Signed-off-by: Keerthy <j-keerthy@ti.com> Signed-off-by: Tony Lindgren <tony@atomide.com>
