* [ARM] Wrap calls to descriptor handlersRussell King2005-09-041-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | This is part of Thomas Gleixner's generic IRQ patch, which converts ARM to use the generic IRQ subsystem. Here, we wrap calls to desc->handler() in an inline function, desc_handle_irq(). This reduces the size of Thomas' patch since the changes become more localised. * [ARM SMP] Ensure secondary CPUs see their pen releaseRussell King2005-07-291-0/+2
| | | | | | | | Since the secondary CPUs will not be operating in symetric mode while they are held in the pen, we need to ensure that the write to pen_release is visible to them, by flushing the cache. Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
* [PATCH] ARM SMP: Mark mroe CPU init data with __cpuinitdataRussell King2005-07-201-2/+2

* [PATCH] ARM SMP: Mark CPU init functions/data with __cpuinit/...dataRussell King2005-07-171-2/+2

* [PATCH] ARM SMP: Initialise cpu_present_mapRussell King2005-07-111-2/+4
| | | | | | | Rather than relying on the fixup code in init/main.c, explicitly initialise cpu_present_map. Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
* [PATCH] ARM SMP: Rename cpu_present_mask to cpu_possible_mapRussell King2005-07-111-1/+1
| | | | | | | The kernel's terminology for this is cpu_possible_map not cpu_present_mask. Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
* [PATCH] ARM: Remove machine description macrosRussell King2005-07-032-12/+16
| | | | | | | Remove the pointless machine description macros, favouring C99 initialisers instead. Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
* [PATCH] ARM: Remove nmi_tick from integrator platformsRussell King2005-06-291-1/+0Star
| | | | | | | The nmi watchdog code hasn't been merged for this platform yet. Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
* [PATCH] ARM: Convert ARM timer implementations to use readl/writelRussell King2005-06-291-28/+14Star
| | | | | | | | | | | | Convert ARMs timer implementations to use readl/writel instead of accessing the registers via a struct. People have recently asked if accessing timers via a structure is the "right way" and its not the Linux way. So fix this code to conform to "The Linux Way"(tm). Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk> Acked-by: Catalin Marinas <catalin.marinas@arm.com>
* [PATCH] ARM: Add SA_TIMER flag to timer interruptsRussell King2005-06-261-2/+2
| | | | | | | VST needs to know which timer handler is for the timer interrupt. Mark all timer interrupts with the SA_TIMER flag. Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
* [PATCH] ARM: Remove nmi_tick() from Integrator.Russell King2005-06-201-1/+0Star

* [PATCH] ARM SMP: Add missed files from Integrator/CP platformRussell King2005-06-192-0/+229
| | | | | | Add missed new files from basic SMP support for the Integrator/CP platform. Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
* [PATCH] ARM SMP: Add basic support Integrator/CP platformRussell King2005-06-183-2/+23

* [PATCH] ARM: 2713/1: Fix the GPIO base for Integrator/CPCatalin Marinas2005-06-161-1/+0Star
| | | | | | | | | | | Patch from Catalin Marinas The GPIO base for Integrator/CP is different from the Integrator/AP. This patch sets the correct value for INTEGRATOR_GPIO_BASE. Signed-off-by: Catalin Marinas Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
* [PATCH] ARM: Clean up commenting/spacing for IntegratorRussell King2005-05-032-3/+5

* [PATCH] ARM: IntegratorCP: Fix CLCD MUX selection valuesRussell King2005-05-011-1/+16
| | | | | | | The documentation on these values seems to be rather wrong. These values have been determined by mere trial and error. Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk@arm.linux.org.uk>
* [PATCH] ARM: RTC: allow driver methods to return errorRussell King2005-04-301-5/+12
| | | | | | | Allow RTC drivers to return error codes from their read_time or read_alarm methods. Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk@arm.linux.org.uk>

Initial git repository build. I'm not bothering with the full history, even though we have it. We can create a separate "historical" git archive of that later if we want to, and in the meantime it's about 3.2GB when imported into git - space that would just make the early git days unnecessarily complicated, when we don't have a lot of good infrastructure for it. Let it rip!
