* ARM: pxa: define clock registers as __iomemArnd Bergmann2016-02-011-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | We should not dereference registers as pointers, so use readl/writel instead for these registers. The clock registers are accessed in multiple files, so we have to change them all at once. I stumbled over these registers while looking at something unrelated. There are in fact other registers with the same problem, but I did not try to address those at this point. * ARM: pxa: make more mach/*.h files localArnd Bergmann2015-12-011-5/+5
| | | | | | | | Lots of header files are never included outside of a mach-pxa directory and do not need to be made visible in include/mach, so let's just move them all down one level. Signed-off-by: Arnd Bergmann <arnd@arndb.de>
* genirq: Remove irq argument from irq flow handlersThomas Gleixner2015-09-161-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | Most interrupt flow handlers do not use the irq argument. Those few which use it can retrieve the irq number from the irq descriptor. Remove the argument. Search and replace was done with coccinelle and some extra helper scripts around it. Thanks to Julia for her help! | * ARM: pxa: fix dm9000 platform data regressionRobert Jarzmik2015-07-161-0/+2
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Since dm9000 driver added support for a vcc regulator, platform data based platforms have their ethernet broken, as the regulator claiming returns -EPROBE_DEFER and prevents dm9000 loading. This patch fixes this for all pxa boards using dm9000, by using the specific regulator_has_full_constraints() function. This was discovered and tested on the cm-x300 board. * / ARM: kill off set_irq_flags usageRob Herring2015-07-281-1/+1
|/ | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | set_irq_flags is ARM specific with custom flags which have genirq equivalents. Convert drivers to use the genirq interfaces directly, so we can kill off set_irq_flags. The translation of flags is as follows: IRQF_VALID -> !IRQ_NOREQUEST IRQF_PROBE -> !IRQ_NOPROBE IRQF_NOAUTOEN -> IRQ_NOAUTOEN For IRQs managed by an irqdomain, the irqdomain core code handles clearing and setting IRQ_NOREQUEST already, so there is no need to do this in .map() functions and we can simply remove the set_irq_flags calls. Some users also modify IRQ_NOPROBE and this has been maintained although it is not clear that is really needed. There appears to be a great deal of blind copy and paste of this code. * ARM: delete struct sys_timerStephen Warren2012-12-241-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Now that the only field in struct sys_timer is .init, delete the struct, and replace the machine descriptor .timer field with the initialization function itself. This will enable moving timer drivers into drivers/clocksource without having to place a public prototype of each struct sys_timer object into include/linux; the intent is to create a single of_clocksource_init() function that determines which timer driver to initialize by scanning the device dtree, much like the proposed irqchip_init() at: http://www.spinics.net/lists/arm-kernel/msg203686.html Includes mach-omap2 fixes from Igor Grinberg. | * arm/pxa2xx: reorgazine SSP and SPI header filesSebastian Andrzej Siewior2010-12-011-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | The PXA-SPI driver relies on some files / defines which are arm specific and are within the ARM tree. The CE4100 SoC which is x86 has also the SPI core. This patch moves the ssp and spi files from arm/mach-pxa and plat-pxa to include/linux where the CE4100 can access them. | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | This is important because on PXA3xx, the physical mapping of SMEMC registers differs from the one on PXA2xx. In order to get PCMCIA working on both PXA2xx and PXA320, the PCMCIA driver was adjusted accordingly as well. Also, various places in the kernel had to be patched to use __raw_read/__raw_write. * | [ARM] pxa: make it clear by converting MMC 'delay_detect' to millisecondEric Miao2010-05-111-1/+1
|/ | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | delay_detect in HZ is confusing, convert it to be millisecond based. And thus remove those unnecessary call to msecs_to_jiffies() at runtime for this field. Other constants are converted assuming HZ == 100, which are basically true for those platforms. The assignment in csb726.c was incorrect, and is fixed in this patch as a result.
