* drm/bochs: mark bochs_connector_get_modes() staticBaoyou Xie2016-09-251-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | We get 1 warning when building kernel with W=1: drivers/gpu/drm/bochs/bochs_kms.c:181:5: warning: no previous prototype for 'bochs_connector_get_modes' [-Wmissing-prototypes] In fact, this function is only used in the file in which it is declared and don't need a declaration, but can be made static. So this patch marks it 'static'. * drm/bochs: Drop fake gamma supportDaniel Vetter2016-04-121-7/+0Star
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Only really needed for fbdev emulation at 8bpp. And bochs doesn't do that. And either way bochs only does 32bit rgb, so this is all pretty much wasted dead code. The only consideration is that we need to not set up any gamma size either. * drm/bochs: Store correct CRTC index in eventsThierry Reding2015-12-151-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Previously a negative pipe caused a special case to be triggered for drivers that didn't have proper VBLANK support. The trigger for this special case is now independent of the pipe, so the correct CRTC index can now be stored in events. v2: convert to use drm_crtc_send_vblank_event() Cc: Gerd Hoffmann <kraxel@redhat.com> Signed-off-by: Thierry Reding <treding@nvidia.com> Signed-off-by: Boris Brezillon <boris.brezillon@free-electrons.com> Link: http://patchwork.freedesktop.org/patch/msgid/1450178476-26284-3-git-send-email-boris.brezillon@free-electrons.com Signed-off-by: Daniel Vetter <daniel.vetter@ffwll.ch>

* drm: Move drm_crtc_init from drm_crtc.h to drm_plane_helper.hDaniel Vetter2014-11-051-0/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Just a bit of OCD cleanup on headers - this function isn't the core interface any more but just a helper for drivers who haven't yet transitioned to universal planes. Put the declaration at the right spot and sprinkle necessary #includes over all drivers. Maybe this helps to encourage driver maintainers to do the switch. v2: Fix #include ordering for tegra, reported by 0-day builder. v3: Include required headers, reported by Thierry. * drm: Replace crtc fb with primary plane fb (v3)Matt Roper2014-04-021-2/+2
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Now that CRTC's have a primary plane, there's no need to track the framebuffer in the CRTC. Replace all references to the CRTC fb with the primary plane's fb. This patch was generated by the Coccinelle semantic patching tool using the following rules: @@ struct drm_crtc C; @@ - (C).fb + C.primary->fb @@ struct drm_crtc *C; @@ - (C)->fb + C->primary->fb v3: Generate patch via coccinelle. Actual removal of crtc->fb has been moved to a subsequent patch. v2: Fixup several lingering crtc->fb instances that were missed in the first patch iteration. DRM driver for (virtual) vga cards using the bochs dispi interface, such as the qemu standard vga (qemu -vga std).
