* drivers/misc: delete non-required instances of include <linux/init.h>Paul Gortmaker2014-02-081-1/+0Star
| | | | | | | | | | | | None of these files are actually using any __init type directives and hence don't need to include <linux/init.h>. Most are just a left over from __devinit and __cpuinit removal, or simply due to code getting copied from one driver to the next. | | | | | | | | | | The usage of strict_strtoul() is not preferred, because strict_strtoul() is obsolete. Thus, kstrtoul() should be used. * isl29003: fix resume functionalityDaniel Mack2009-05-071-2/+7
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | The isl29003 does not interpret the return value of i2c_smbus_write_byte_data() correctly and hence causes an error on system resume. Also introduce power_state_before_suspend and restore the chip's power state upon wakeup. Signed-off-by: Daniel Mack <daniel@caiaq.de> Cc: "Rafael J. * drivers/misc/isl29003.c: driver for the ISL29003 ambient light sensorDaniel Mack2009-04-011-0/+470
Add a driver for Intersil's ISL29003 ambient light sensor device plus some documentation. Inspired by tsl2550.c, a driver for a similar device. It is put in drivers/misc for now until the industrial I/O framework gets merged.
