* misc: Drop owner assignment from i2c_driverKrzysztof Kozlowski2015-07-271-1/+0Star
| | | | | | | | i2c_driver does not need to set an owner because i2c_register_driver() will set it. Signed-off-by: Krzysztof Kozlowski <k.kozlowski@samsung.com> Signed-off-by: Greg Kroah-Hartman <gregkh@linuxfoundation.org>
* misc: constify of_device_id arrayFabian Frederick2015-03-161-1/+1
| | | | | | | | of_device_id is always used as const. (See driver.of_match_table and open firmware functions) Signed-off-by: Fabian Frederick <fabf@skynet.be> Signed-off-by: Greg Kroah-Hartman <gregkh@linuxfoundation.org>
* misc / PM: Replace CONFIG_PM_RUNTIME with CONFIG_PMRafael J. Wysocki2014-12-051-2/+2
| | | | | | | | | | | | | After commit b2b49ccbdd54 (PM: Kconfig: Set PM_RUNTIME if PM_SLEEP is selected) PM_RUNTIME is always set if PM is set, so #ifdef blocks depending on CONFIG_PM_RUNTIME may now be changed to depend on CONFIG_PM. Replace CONFIG_PM_RUNTIME with CONFIG_PM everywhere under drivers/misc/. Signed-off-by: Rafael J. Wysocki <rafael.j.wysocki@intel.com> Acked-by: Greg Kroah-Hartman <gregkh@linuxfoundation.org>
* drivers/misc: delete non-required instances of include <linux/init.h>Paul Gortmaker2014-02-081-1/+0Star
| | | | | | | | | | | | None of these files are actually using any __init type directives and hence don't need to include <linux/init.h>. Most are just a left over from __devinit and __cpuinit removal, or simply due to code getting copied from one driver to the next. * drivers/misc/lis3lv02d/lis3lv02d_i2c.c: add lis3lv02d device tree initAnilKumar Ch2012-09-261-0/+23
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Add lis3lv02d device tree initialization code/API to take pdata from device node. Also adds device tree init matching table support to lis3lv02d_i2c driver. If the driver data is passed from device tree, then this driver picks up platform data from device node through common/generic lis3lv02d.c driver. * lis3lv02d: Add STMicroelectronics lis331dlh digital accelerometerAnilKumar Ch2012-09-051-1/+6
| | | | | | | | | | | This patch adds support for lis331dlh digital accelerometer to the lis3lv02d driver family. Adds ID field for detecting the lis331dlh module, based on this ID field lis3lv02d driver will export the lis331dlh module functionality. * lis3lv02d: make regulator API usage unconditionalMark Brown2011-11-011-22/+12Star
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | The regulator API contains a range of features for stubbing itself out when not in use and for transparently restricting the actual effect of regulator API calls where they can't be supported on a particular system so that drivers don't need to individually implement this. Simplify the driver slightly by making use of this idiom. The only in tree user is ecovec24 which does not use the regulator API.
