* serial: tegra: convert to standard DMA DT bindingsStephen Warren2013-12-121-18/+6Star
| | | | | | | | | | | By using dma_request_slave_channel_or_err(), the DMA slave ID can be looked up from standard DT properties, and squirrelled away during channel allocation. Hence, there's no need to use a custom DT property to store the slave ID. * serial: tegra: use reset frameworkStephen Warren2013-12-121-4/+10
| | | | | | | | | | Tegra's clock driver now provides an implementation of the common reset API (include/linux/reset.h). Use this instead of the old Tegra- specific API; that will soon be removed. | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | The current driver triggers a lockdep warning for if tty_flip_buffer_push() is called with uart_port->lock locked. | | | | | | | | | | | | | Use the newly introduced devm_ioremap_resource() instead of devm_request_and_ioremap() which provides more consistent error handling. devm_ioremap_resource() provides its own error messages; so all explicit error messages can be removed from the failure code paths. * serial: tegra: add serial driverLaxman Dewangan2013-01-161-0/+1399
NVIDIA's Tegra has multiple UART controller which supports: - APB DMA based controller fifo read/write. - End Of Data interrupt in incoming data to know whether end of frame achieve or not. - HW controlled RTS and CTS flow control to reduce SW overhead. Add serial driver to use all above feature.
