Only tty_port will needed and hence no more tty_port_tty_get in those paths. Now, the one where most of tty_port_tty_get gets removed: tty_flip_buffer_push. IOW we also closed all the races in drivers not using tty_port_tty_get at all yet. Also we move tty_flip_buffer_push declaration from include/linux/tty.h to include/linux/tty_flip.h to all others while we are changing it anyway. The usb_driver structure is now created dynamically and registered and unregistered as needed. This saves lines of code in each usb-serial driver. All in-kernel users of these functions were also fixed up at this time. The pl2303 driver was tested that everything worked properly. Thanks for the idea to do this from Alan Stern. The problem is that the usb-serial core was calling shutdown during disconnect handling, but drivers didn't expect it to be called until after all the open file references had been closed. The result was an oops when the close method tried to use memory that had been deallocated by shutdown. Unfortunately when you consider hangup events, hangup/parallel reopen or even worse hangup followed by parallel close events the tty->port and port->tty pointers are not guaranteed to be the same as port->tty is the active tty while tty->port is the port the tty may or may not still be attached to. So rework the entire API to pass the tty struct. For console cases we need to pass both for now. This shows up multiple drivers that immediately crash with USB console some of which have been fixed in the process.
