* [POWERPC] CPM: Rename commproc to cpm1 and cpm2_common.c to cpm2.cJochen Friedrich2008-01-281-688/+0Star
| | | | | | | | | Rename commproc.[ch] to cpm1.[ch] to be more consistent with cpm2. Also rename cpm2_common.c to cpm2.c as suggested by Scott Wood. Adjust the includes accordingly. Signed-off-by: Jochen Friedrich <jochen@scram.de> Signed-off-by: Kumar Gala <galak@kernel.crashing.org>
* [POWERPC] 8xx: Remove unused m8xx_cpm_hostalloc/free/dump()Jochen Friedrich2008-01-281-4/+0Star
| | | | | | | | | m8xx_cpm_hostalloc is still defined in commproc.c, but no users are left in the kernel tree. m8xx_cpm_hostfree and m8xx_cpm_hostdump are only defined in the headers. Remove this dead code. Signed-off-by: Jochen Friedrich <jochen@scram.de> Signed-off-by: Kumar Gala <galak@kernel.crashing.org>

* [POWERPC] Change rheap functions to use ulongs instead of pointersTimur Tabi2007-05-101-9/+4Star
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | The rheap allocation functions return a pointer, but the actual value is based on how the heap was initialized, and so it can be anything, e.g. an offset into a buffer. A ulong is a better representation of the value returned by the allocation functions. This patch changes all of the relevant rheap functions to use a unsigned long integers instead of a pointer. In case of an error, the value returned is a negative error code that has been cast to an unsigned long. The caller can use the IS_ERR_VALUE() macro to check for this. All code which calls the rheap functions is updated accordingly. Macros IS_MURAM_ERR() and IS_DPERR(), have been deleted in favor of IS_ERR_VALUE(). Also added error checking to rh_attach_region(). * [POWERPC] 8xx: powerpc port of core CPM PICVitaly Bordug2007-02-071-0/+1
| | | | | | | | | | This covers common CPM access functions, CPM interrupt controller code, micropatch and a few compatibility things to kee the same driver base working with arch/ppc. This version is refined with all the comments (mostly PIC-related) addressed. Signed-off-by: Vitaly Bordug <vbordug@ru.mvista.com> Signed-off-by: Paul Mackerras <paulus@samba.org>

| * [PATCH] ppc32 CPM_UART: Fixed break send on SCCVitaly Bordug2006-05-031-0/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | SCC uart sends a break sequence each time it is stopped with the CPM_CR_STOP_TX command. That means that each time an application closes the serial device, a break is transmitted. To fix this, graceful tx stop is issued for SCC. Initial git repository build. I'm not bothering with the full history, even though we have it. We can create a separate "historical" git archive of that later if we want to, and in the meantime it's about 3.2GB when imported into git - space that would just make the early git days unnecessarily complicated, when we don't have a lot of good infrastructure for it. Let it rip!
