* x86: provide a native_init_IRQ function on 64-bitGlauber de Oliveira Costa2008-01-301-0/+1
| | | | | | | | | x86_64 lacks a native_init_IRQ() function, so we turn the arch's init_IRQ() function into a native construct Signed-off-by: Glauber de Oliveira Costa <gcosta@redhat.com> Signed-off-by: Ingo Molnar <mingo@elte.hu> Signed-off-by: Thomas Gleixner <tglx@linutronix.de>
* x86: clear IO_APIC before enabing apic error vector.Yinghai Lu2008-01-301-0/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | 4 socket quad core, 8 socket quad core will do apic ID lifting for BSP. But io-apic regs for ExtINT still use 0 as dest. so when we enable apic error vector in BSP, we will get one APIC error. CPU: L1 I Cache: 64K (64 bytes/line), D cache 64K (64 bytes/line) CPU: L2 Cache: 512K (64 bytes/line) CPU 0/4 -> Node 0 CPU: Physical Processor ID: 1 CPU: Processor Core ID: 0 SMP alternatives: switching to UP code ACPI: Core revision 20070126 enabled ExtINT on CPU#0 ESR value after enabling vector: 00000000, after 0000000c APIC error on CPU0: 0c(08) ENABLING IO-APIC IRQs Synchronizing Arb IDs. So move enable_IO_APIC from setup_IO_APIC into setup_local_APIC and call it before enabling the ACPI error vector. * x86: Add parenthesis to IRQ vector macrosSteven Rostedt2007-10-171-16/+16
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | It is not good taste to have macros with additions that do not have parenthesises around them. This patch parethesizes the IRQ vector macros for x86_64 arch. Note, this caused me a bit of heart-ache debugging lguest64. * x86: remove STR() macrosGlauber de Oliveira Costa2007-10-171-3/+0Star
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | This patch removes the __STR() and STR() macros from x86_64 header files. They seem to be legacy, and has no more users. Even if there were users, they should use __stringify() instead. In fact, there were one third place in which this macro was defined (ia32_binfmt.c), and used just below. In this file, usage was properly converted to __stringify() [ tglx: arch/x86 adaptation ] Signed-off-by: Glauber de Oliveira Costa <gcosta@redhat.com> Signed-off-by: Andi Kleen <ak@suse.de> Signed-off-by: Ingo Molnar <mingo@elte.hu> Signed-off-by: Thomas Gleixner <tglx@linutronix.de>
