* ASoC: samsung: Add HDMI audio support for SnowSylwester Nawrocki2018-03-131-47/+177
| | | | | | | | | | This patch updates the driver so, in addition to current DT bindings, it also can also use the new DT bindings with cpu, codec subnodes which allow to support sound on the HDMI interface. * ASoC: samsung: Drop uneeded RCLKSRC setting in the Snow driverSylwester Nawrocki2018-03-121-5/+0Star
| | | | | | | | | | The RCLKSRC mux input 0 is a default configuration after reset, so there is no need for this explicit snd_soc_dai_set_sysclk() call. Also, this static mux clock configuration can be specified in DT. * ASoC: Vendor drivers get a link's runtime by snd_soc_get_pcm_runtime()Mengdong Lin2015-11-181-2/+7
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Vendor drivers no longer access a DAI link's runtime by the link index but by matching the link name via snd_soc_get_pcm_runtime(). We assume each DAI link has a unique name. This is preparation for changing runtimes from an array to a list later. Vendor drivers changed: sound/soc/fsl/fsl-asoc-card.c sound/soc/fsl/imx-wm8962.c sound/soc/pxa/mioa701_wm9713.c sound/soc/samsung/bells.c sound/soc/samsung/littlemill.c sound/soc/samsung/odroidx2_max98090.c sound/soc/samsung/snow.c sound/soc/samsung/speyside.c sound/soc/samsung/tobermory.c sound/soc/tegra/tegra_wm8903 Signed-off-by: Mengdong Lin <mengdong.lin@linux.intel.com> Signed-off-by: Mark Brown <broonie@kernel.org>

They are dominated by the removal of the .owner field in platform drivers. They touch a lot of files, but they are "simple" changes, just removing a line in a structure. Other than that, a few minor driver core and debugfs changes. There are some ath9k patches coming in through this tree that have been acked by the wireless maintainers as they relied on the debugfs changes. * ASoC: samsung: Add sound card driver for Snow boardTushar Behera2014-04-291-0/+122
Added machine driver to instantiate I2S based sound card on Snow board. It has MAX98095 audio codec on board. There are some other variants for Snow board which have MAX98090 audio codec. Hence support for MAX98090 is also added to this driver. Signed-off-by: Tushar Behera <tushar.behera@linaro.org> Signed-off-by: Mark Brown <broonie@linaro.org>
