Some hints for usage of clone_stage4:

Use clone_stage4 not on the build computer but on the computer which
provides httpd and nfsd, or, in other words: On the computer which serves
the boot files. That's the reason why clone_stage4 rejects 'local' as IP.

To use stage4 a nfs export will be necessary.

On the build computer (or, in other words, the computer which compiles etc.):
- build your system to your taste.
- Then, to provide a standardized bind mount (/export/build) for synchronizing
  from elsewhere ("server IP") enter:
  ./mltk remote -n

Then, on the service computer (the one where's booted from etc, see above)

- sync all of your build (IP is IP of build computer):
  ./mltk server IP -s

- or, if wanted, sync just some parts, for example:
  ./mltk server [IP] stage31 -e stage31 -s
  ./mltk server [IP] stage32 -e stage32 -s
  ./mltk server 132.230.8.238 vbox -e addons -s
  (etc.)

Well, then do the cloning work:
  ./scripts/clone_stage4 [IP] /path/to/your/nfs/share/stage4

To use the stage4 make sure your (base) config file contains a line
  SLX_STAGE4_NFS=[IP of service computer]:/path/to/your/nfs/share/stage4

At least now (20130912) it is necessary to enter
  systemctl (start, restart, reload) nfs-mount

... then login (or re-login), and the stage4s should be there in all their glory.
