[client] Remove redundant formatting of VirtualBox configurations
This commit fixes the error '[Fatal Error] :1:1: Content is not allowed
in prolog.' printed on the console. This error message is caused by the
XML formatting that takes place twice and even in cases where there is
no VirtualBox configuration content (XML) available.
