* dmaengine: ti-dma-crossbar: Fix event mapping for TPCC_EVT_MUX_60_63Vignesh R2017-12-221-1/+9
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | Register layout of a typical TPCC_EVT_MUX_M_N register is such that the lowest numbered event is at the lowest byte address and highest numbered event at highest byte address. But TPCC_EVT_MUX_60_63 register layout is different, in that the lowest numbered event is at the highest address and highest numbered event is at the lowest address. Therefore, modify ti_am335x_xbar_write() to handle TPCC_EVT_MUX_60_63 register accordingly. | * dmaengine: ti-dma-crossbar: Correct am335x/am43xx mux value typePeter Ujfalusi2017-11-081-4/+4
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | The used 0x1f mask is only valid for am335x family of SoC, different family using this type of crossbar might have different number of electable events. In case of am43xx family 0x3f mask should have been used for example. Instead of trying to handle each family's mask, just use u8 type to store the mux value since the event offsets are aligned to byte offset. * dmaengine: ti-dma-crossbar: Fix dra7 reserve functionAlexander Smirnov2017-08-281-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | DMA crossbar uses 'xbar->dma_inuse' variable to manage allocated routes. Each bit represents respective DMA channel. If the channel is free, bit is set to '0', if channel is allocated, bit should be set to '1'. In reserve function, the bits for requested DMA channels are cleared, so they are not really reserved, but freed and become ready for allocation. | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Use pointers to static constant variables for crossbar type and for DMA offset configuration. Fixes compiler warnings on 64bit architectures: drivers/dma/ti-dma-crossbar.c: In function ‘ti_dra7_xbar_probe’: drivers/dma/ti-dma-crossbar.c:398:21: warning: cast from pointer to integer of different size [-Wpointer-to-int-cast] xbar->dma_offset = (u32)match->data; ^ drivers/dma/ti-dma-crossbar.c: In function ‘ti_dma_xbar_probe’: drivers/dma/ti-dma-crossbar.c:431:10: warning: cast from pointer to integer of different size [-Wpointer-to-int-cast] switch ((u32)match->data) { ^ Signed-off-by: Peter Ujfalusi <peter.ujfalusi@ti.com> Signed-off-by: Vinod Koul <vinod.koul@intel.com>

| | | | | | | | | | The omap_dmaxbar_init() function is not exported or declared outside the driver, so make it static to fix the following sparse warning: drivers/dma/ti-dma-crossbar.c:455:5: warning: symbol 'omap_dmaxbar_init' was not declared. * dmaengine: ti-dma-crossbar: dra7: Support for reserving DMA event rangesPeter Ujfalusi2015-11-301-4/+43
| | | | | | | | | | | | In eDMA the events are directly mapped to a DMA channel (for example DMA event 14 can only be handled by DMA channel 14). If the memcpy is enabled on the eDMA, there is a possibility that the crossbar driver would assign DMA event number already allocated in eDMA for memcpy. Furthermore the eDMA can be shared with DSP in which case the crossbar driver should also avoid mapping xbar events to DSP used event numbers (or channels). * dmaengine: ti-dma-crossbar: dra7: Use bitops instead of idrPeter Ujfalusi2015-11-301-7/+23
| | | | | | | | | | The use of idr was nice, but it was a bit heavy and we did not need the features it provides. Using simple bitmap to track allocated DMA channels is adequate here and it will be easier to add support for reserving channels later on. * dmaengine: ti-dma-crossbar: Add support for crossbar on AM33xx/AM43xxPeter Ujfalusi2015-10-271-30/+221
| | | | | | | | | | | | | The DMA event crossbar on AM33xx/AM43xx is different from the one found in DRA7x family. Instead of a single event crossbar it has 64 identical mux attached to each eDMA event line. When the 0 event mux is selected, the default mapped event is going to be routed to the corresponding eDMA event line. If different mux is selected, then the selected event is going to be routed to the given eDMA event. * dmaengine: Add driver for TI DMA crossbar on DRA7xPeter Ujfalusi2015-05-141-0/+188
The DRA7x has more peripherals with DMA requests than the sDMA can handle: 205 vs 127. All DMA requests are routed through the DMA crossbar, which can be configured to route selected incoming DMA requests to specific sDMA request.
