* scsi: aic7xxx: fix EISA supportChristoph Hellwig2019-04-191-0/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | Instead of relying on the now removed NULL argument to pci_alloc_consistent, switch to the generic DMA API, and store the struct device so that we can pass it. Fixes: 4167b2ad5182 ("PCI: Remove NULL device handling from PCI DMA API") Reported-by: Matthew Whitehead <tedheadster@gmail.com> Signed-off-by: Christoph Hellwig <hch@lst.de> Tested-by: Matthew Whitehead <tedheadster@gmail.com> Signed-off-by: Martin K. * scsi: aic7xxx: Fix build using bare-metal toolchainSam Protsenko2018-08-301-6/+0Star
| | | | | | | | | | | | Bare-metal toolchains don't define __linux__, so aic7xxx build with bare-metal toolchain is broken. This driver codebase used to be partially shared with FreeBSD, but these days there is no point in keeping the compatibility around. So let's just drop FreeBSD related code and get rid of __linux__ checking in order to fix the build using bare-metal toolchains. * aic7xxx: Avoid name collision with <linux/list.h>Michal Marek2016-01-051-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | Rename the local definition of LIST_HEAD to BSD_LIST_HEAD. This fixes a ctags error if we apply the C rules to header files as well: ctags: Warning: drivers/scsi/aic7xxx/aic79xx.h:1072: null expansion of name pattern "\3" ctags: Warning: drivers/scsi/aic7xxx/aic7xxx.h:919: null expansion of name pattern "\3" Signed-off-by: Michal Marek <mmarek@suse.com>

* [SCSI] aic7xxx: Add suspend/resume supportHannes Reinecke2007-10-211-10/+1Star
| | | | | | | | | | The aic7xxx driver already contains fragments for suspend/resume support. So we only need to update them to the current interface and have full PCI suspend/resume. * [SCSI] aic7xxx: Remove slave_destroyHannes Reinecke2006-10-261-0/+1
| | | | | | | | | | This is a cross-port from aic79xx; we still hit the occasional BUG_ON in slave_destroy. And again we don't really need the slave_destroy callback nor the ahc_linux_target structure at all. * [SCSI] aic7xxx: expose the bus setting to sysfsJames Bottomley2006-06-101-0/+1
| | | | | | | | | Read the transciever register and display in the host transport properties. I'm still not entirely sure what this does for multiple transciever adapters (like some 160 ones) however, I suspect it displays the transciever state of the switchable bus segment. Initial git repository build. I'm not bothering with the full history, even though we have it. We can create a separate "historical" git archive of that later if we want to, and in the meantime it's about 3.2GB when imported into git - space that would just make the early git days unnecessarily complicated, when we don't have a lot of good infrastructure for it. Let it rip!
