Below is the changeset from the MPI specification and 2.00.34 header
files:
1) Defined additional bits in the BiosOptions field of BIOS Page 1 to
allow for finer control of X86 BIOS and UEFI BSD.
2) For the Clean Tool, reserved bit 26 of the Flags field for product
specific use.

Below is the change set in MPI2 Rev Y specification and in 2.00.17 header files
1) Added SCSIStatusQualifier to SCSI IO Error Reply message.
2) Added ATA Security Freeze Lock to IO Unit Page 1 Flags field.
Below is the change set in MPI2 Rev Z specification and in 2.00.19 header files
1) Added reserved fields to IO Unit Page 7 for future use.
2) Added optional functionality to IOCInit Request so that
the host may specify a separate base address for each
Reply Descriptor Post Queue. IOC support for this is
indicated using a new IOCCapabilities bit in the IOCFacts Reply.
3) Added Toolbox Console Text Display Tool
The host uses the Console Text Display Tool to send a string to
IOC's Console using different console types (eg: UART serial terminal or Ethernet terminal).
The copyright in the mpi files is updated for year 2014

1. Added two new AbortType values for TargetModeAbort Request: one to abort
all IOs from a single initiator and other to abort only Command IUs.
2. Added Use Slot Information during Port Enable Event Reply flag to the Flags
field of Manufacturing Page 7.
3. Added OEM Identifier to BiosOptions bits of BIOS Page 1.

Change set in MPI 2.0 Rev W(2.00.15) specification and 2.00.27 header files
1. Added a bit to the IOCExceptions field of the IOCFacts Reply to indicate
that the IOC detected a partial memory failure.
2. Added ElapsedSeconds field to RAID Volume Indicator Structure. Added
Elapsed Seconds Valid flag to Flags field of this structure.
3. Added ElapsedSeconds field to Integrated RAID Operations Status Event Data.
4. In the IOCSettings field of BIOS Page 1, modified the Adapter Support bits
description to specify X86 BIOS.
5. Toolbox Diagnostic CLI Tool Request may now use chain elements in the SGL.

mpt2sas driver revision q header update:
(1) Modified the descriptions of the LocalAddress bit in the
Flags field of the MPI SGE Format description and the MPI
Simple Element.
(2) Modified Data Location Address Space bits in the Flags field
of the IEEE Chain Element.
(3) Added more detail to the description of the DataLength field
for the SCSI IO Request and Target Assist Request. Removed
restriction on using chained SGLs when using multicast or
bidirectional support.
(4) In Manufacturing Page 7, added ReceptacleID field to
ConnectorInfo, and reworked how the Pinout field is used.
(5) In IO Unit Page 7, added BoardTemperature and
BoardTemperatureUnits fields.
(6) In IOC Page 1, changed CoalescingTimeout to units of
half-microsecond and updated descriptions.
(7) Modified descriptions of SATASlumberTimeout and
SASSlumberTimeout fields in SAS IO Unit Page 5 to indicate
the timers start after partial mode is entered.
(8) Added Extended Manufacturing configuration pages.

MPI2 Rev header files.
1) Removed Task Set Full Event. Modified description of Disable SCSI
Initiator Task Set Full Handling bit in the Flags field of IO Unit
Page 1. Modified the descriptions for the three queue depth fields in
SAS IO Unit Page 1.
(2) Added new value for the Current Operation bits of the Flags field
in the RAID Volume Indicator Structure to indicate that the Make Data
Consistent operation is running.
(3) Added a value of 0x6 to various SAS link rate fields to indicate an
attached PHY that is not using any commonly supported settings.
(4) Added Volume Not Consistent bit to the VolumeStatusFlags field of
RAID Volume Page 0.
(5) Added a new value for the IncompatibleReason field of RAID Physical
Disk Page 0 to indicate an incompatible media type.
(6) Added Diagnostic Data Upload tool for the Toolbox Request.
