* USB: chipidea: Remove redundant license textGreg Kroah-Hartman2017-11-071-4/+0Star
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Now that the SPDX tag is in all USB files, that identifies the license in a specific and legally-defined manner. So the extra GPL text wording can be removed as it is no longer needed at all. This is done on a quest to remove the 700+ different ways that files in the kernel describe the GPL license text. And there's unneeded stuff like the address (sometimes incorrect) for the FSF which is never needed. No copyright headers or other non-license-description text was removed. * USB: add SPDX identifiers to all remaining files in drivers/usb/Greg Kroah-Hartman2017-11-041-0/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | It's good to have SPDX identifiers in all files to make it easier to audit the kernel tree for correct licenses. Update the drivers/usb/ and include/linux/usb* files with the correct SPDX license identifier based on the license text in the file itself. The SPDX identifier is a legally binding shorthand, which can be used instead of the full boiler plate text. This work is based on a script and data from Thomas Gleixner, Philippe Ombredanne, and Kate Stewart. * USB: chipidea: remove unneeded MODULE_VERSION() usageGreg Kroah-Hartman2017-07-221-1/+0Star
| | | | | | | | MODULE_VERSION is useless for in-kernel drivers, so remove the use of it in the chipidea CI13XXX driver. Acked-by: Peter Chen <peter.chen@nxp.com> Signed-off-by: Greg Kroah-Hartman <gregkh@linuxfoundation.org>
* usb: chipidea: fix return value check in ci_hdrc_pci_probe()Wei Yongjun2016-02-191-2/+2
| | | | | | | | | In case of error, the function usb_phy_generic_register() returns ERR_PTR() and never returns NULL. The NULL test in the return value check should be replaced with IS_ERR(). Signed-off-by: Wei Yongjun <yongjun_wei@trendmicro.com.cn> Signed-off-by: Peter Chen <peter.chen@nxp.com>
* chipidea: ci_hdrc_pci: use PCI_VDEVICE() instead of PCI_DEVICE()Sergei Shtylyov2015-10-221-3/+3
| | | | | | | Fix using the PCI_DEVICE() macro instead of less verbose PCI_VDEVICE(). Signed-off-by: Sergei Shtylyov <sergei.shtylyov@cogentembedded.com> Signed-off-by: Peter Chen <peter.chen@freescale.com>
* chipidea: pci: register nop PHYAndy Shevchenko2015-03-181-7/+24
| | | | | | | | | | | Since PHY for ChipIdea is optional (not all SoCs having PHY for ChipIdea should be programmed), we register 'nop' PHY for platforms that do not have programmable PHY. * ehci-pci: disable for Intel MID platforms (update)Andy Shevchenko2015-02-041-0/+3
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | This is a follow up to the previously submitted commit cefa9a31a5f0 (ehci-pci: disable for Intel MID platforms). It includes the following changes: - table and function are renamed to reflect this is not only about ChipIdea - ChipIdea PCI driver (ci_hdrc_pci.c) gets the comment about the table in ehci-pci.c - MIPS IDs removed from the list since it was discovered and tested on Intel MID platforms Reviewed-by: Alexander Shishkin <alexander.shishkin@linux.intel.com> Signed-off-by: Andy Shevchenko <andriy.shevchenko@linux.intel.com> Signed-off-by: Greg Kroah-Hartman <gregkh@linuxfoundation.org>
* usb: chipidea: remove DEFINE_PCI_DEVICE_TABLE macroJingoo Han2013-12-031-1/+1
| | | | | | | | Don't use DEFINE_PCI_DEVICE_TABLE macro, because this macro is not preferred. Signed-off-by: Jingoo Han <jg1.han@samsung.com> Signed-off-by: Greg Kroah-Hartman <gregkh@linuxfoundation.org>
* usb: chipidea: add Intel Clovertrail pci idDavid Cohen2013-10-041-1/+6
| | | | | | | | Also clean up the last item of the pci id list to be "cleaner". Signed-off-by: David Cohen <david.a.cohen@linux.intel.com> Cc: stable <stable@vger.kernel.org> Signed-off-by: Greg Kroah-Hartman <gregkh@linuxfoundation.org>
* usb: chipidea: drop "13xxx" infixAlexander Shishkin2013-06-251-0/+149
"ci13xxx" is bad for at least the following reasons: * people often mistype it * it doesn't add any informational value to the names it's used in * it needlessly attracts mail filters This patch replaces it with "ci_hdrc", "ci_udc" or "ci_hw", depending on the situation. Modules with ci13xxx prefix are also renamed accordingly and aliases are added for compatibility. Otherwise, no functional changes.
